Jarrettsville Cemetery
Jarrettsville Cemetery
The Jarrettsville Cemetery originated in 1869 as the burial grounds for Watt's Chapel Methodist Episcopal South Church, predecessor of what is now Jarrettsville United Methodist Church.
The Jarrettsville Cemetery Company was formed in 1905, separate from any church affiliation. It was incorporated in 1925 as a non-profit, non-denominational, non-sectarian cemetery available to all without discrimination. The natural beauty of the community that was brought together by farming provides a simplistic, serene resting place for loved ones and a calming, peaceful environment for family and friends paying their respects.
Located in the rural setting of northern Harford County, Maryland, near Bel Air and Forest Hill, the well-groomed grounds are maintained by a professional landscaping company and overseen by its Board of Directors. It is an active cemetery with many burial options, including a cremation garden, single grave spaces, double grave spaces, and large family plots.
